Research - Contents Page


Content pages are vital pieces of information in magazines as they inform the audience what the magazine will contain and the were abouts of each section there are also many pictures to bring attention to the audience. The colour's tend to be consistent throughout the magazine including; front cover, contents and the rest. Many magazine's tend to use offers and competitions on the contents page as it interests the readers. The use of bright colours encourages the audience and keeps them engaged as it is very appealing to read on to the different stories. The content pages give a clear indication to what genre the magazine will be by the use of pictures and words. It is also good for the reader to have a quick look at to be aware as to wether the magazine contains information which appeals to them before buying. It also connects well with the customers as the content is split into sections and there is use of bright colours. There is a wide range of pictures on most content pages.
